About Me

caretaker of bees: Decided to become a beekeeper so I got a hive. It died this year after surviving the winter with a sudden cold snap. I am not discouraged and am diving in fully with 3 hives- 2 Langstroth and 1 in a Top Bar hive. I don't see myself as a bee charmer but was fascinated at the idea of it. I am a caretaker of bees- not one to "manage them" or to profit from their labors.
